Baudolino can be moody, sometimes crazy, abominably drunk, often-times gullible, insecure and distracted but always faithful and loyal to friends and allies. When given the choice between doing one thing or another he often prefers to do the completely unexpected if for no other reason than to create a laugh, even at his own expense. Despite his struggle with alcohol and drugs, he appears to have recovered his sanity and sobriety while forging an unexpected career as an Orochi cleanup agent.
