-*Born in London, England to a British father and an American mother, Dawn moved to the United States with her mother after her parents divorced. She grew up in Washington state and had a fairly normal life.
-*Around the age of 12, she discovered she had vocal talent. She played in various rock bands over the next few years, building her skills and gaining experience.
-*After finishing high school, she moved to Seattle, started a new band, and put out a record.
-*With airplay on college radio across the country, it seemed like Dawn was on the verge of becoming a national star.

-*In 2013, after a Pacific Northwest tour, Dawn was invited to play a show in a small town on the San Juan Islands.
-*About an hour before she was scheduled to perform, a flash of light rippled across the sky. The town became a shadowy hell-on-earth, and Dawn was stuck in harrowing survival mode for a few months before she and a few others were able to escape.
-*Seeing paranormal events changed her. When she got back to Seattle, she developed a drinking problem and a mild drug habit.
-*Her band reconvened to record another album, but she was kicked out of the band shortly after it was released due to her increasingly erratic behavior.
-*For the next year, she laid low, taking certification classes to become a private investigator.
-*She now travels around, taking contracts when she can.
