==Biography==

Mundane is an apt description of Johnathan's life before the nature of the secret world eclipsed it. Born to the Fitzroys on October 23rd, 1990, his early life was blessed with opportunity due to a recently family inheritance and his father's job success as a family practitioner.  Still, if anything, he was merely another face where he grew up in the city of Bath, New York. One that perhaps was known quite often, but not for anything strange. Simply because he was the guy who would listen to you when everyone else was partying or offer a dance when someone lacked a partner. So despite not being a self professed conversationalist or attention seeker, his network of friends was fairly decent growing up.

Thus, his life was relatively prosperous and eventually lead him to study his favored topic of Humanities abroad at New College of the Humanities in hopes of a PhD.

Sights were set high. While his goals of becoming a professor a bit lofty at the time, he was making good progress.

Then came the spanner in the works: an untimely accident while taking the summer off to house sit for his parents. Mangled, frayed wires and clumsy hands never made a good mix. This instance almost proved fatal were it not for a strange, unlikely timing of the tiniest of creatures.
 +
 +
Oblivious to the nature of what happened, he merely counted his lucky blessings. He woke up with healing electrical burns but assumed after a doctor's visit and some instructions all was fine. Stranger things were to follow: strange dreams of warnings, threatening letters and ominous text messages made a frequent occurrence for a good week or two. The police seemed oddly dismissive and inattentive to the one complaint he managed to file before heading on back to London.
 +
 +
The messages stopped and life returned as normal.  At least, for three days.  The resulting accidental damage to his apartment the awakening of his abilities was more than enough to signal the authorities and soon after, a representative from the Templars. Knowing little else of what to do with himself, he willingly handed himself over to their organization and the rest was history.
 +
 +
There he received knowledge and understanding of the situation at hand by those within the Templar organization. But more than that, the knowledge that he was 'one of many' to be touched by said powers-- a soldier in an army rather than a chosen one and what would come were he not to accept their offer in their enlisted order.
 +
 +
For him, however, it wasn't an ominous proposition aside from the loss of his old life. (One that he misses dearly still.) The Templars fed into his head that he could do good -- that the strange situation that had overcome him and many others could be used to help and aid others. Being given instructions was a bonus, rather than being left in the dark with his powers and dreams to contend with.
 +
 +
Yet sweetened words can only go so far and the experiences he's had from the places he's been sent to have been far more than he's bargained for. Thrust into a supernatural world of wonder and horror, he's contended with many things both physically and mentally. At first he was scared: a terrified wide-eyed soldier. Of course, time changed him as did experience. Now, after a good handful of experiences, he's regained at least a speck of his old self.  Despite his 'job relocation' keeping him from contacting family and friends too often, he still tries to keep an optimistic opinion of it all.
 +
 +
That isn't to say the transition has gone completely smoothly. There's many things he's learned that's left him alienated from much of the regular world. Things in his head that speak and feed him dark truths of the hidden world he sees around him through honeyed voices. Of the good and bad he's done. (Mainly the bad, to his dismay. Not all of his actions despite well intended were correct.)
 +
 +
But he presses on, tenacious in trying to do the right thing but just as well, starting to study and unravel as much of this new world as he can. His curiosity leading him to learn more about the world around him but also question if there is even a way to help preserve it.
 +
 +
Still, a clock ticks on in the back of his head-- one that tells him his world might not have all that long left, no matter how many fight for a different outcome.
