Jiayi Song was a Bee before it was cool. She was born in San Fransisco, California to Chinese immigrant parents. Her plans to pursue a music and dance career were cut short at age eighteen when a little bug flew through her window one night. Soon afterword she was recruited by the Dragon. She learned to use her dance skills in swordsmanship. For several years Jiayi worked as an agent of change for the Dragon traveling around and stirring up butterfly breezes of change. Eventually she caught the eye of the Council of Venice.

=• The Secret War •=
Jiayi had already been settled into her role as a Council of Venice Envoy for several years before the surge of NewBees began buzzing around thee Secret World. Now with the upswing in occult activity Jiayi has stepped out from behind her desk and started to take a more active role in the Secret War again. She fights to protect Gaia from the Filth without getting involved in faction politics.
