The secret societies active in Secret World Legends are known as 'factions'.
While all player characters, in game mechanics, must belong to one of the 'big three' factions, many people roleplay as members of other, smaller factions -- or as members of no faction at all. The following factions are available within this Wiki:
- Brotherhood of Phoenician Sailors (not yet active)
- Council of Venice
- Dragon
- Illuminati
- Morninglight (not yet active)
- Orochi Group
- Templar
- Neutral, Unaligned, or Unknown
